CBEE Vision

The School of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering is moving forward to creating an absolutely unique educational and research environment in which engineering students are inculcated in the interface between biological, chemical and physical principles and applications. All students will learn cutting edge application of chemical engineering, biotechnology, and environmental systems. Multidisciplinary collaboration will become the norm in our classroom and laboratories as we prepare our students for the 21st century workplace. We believe this unique learning environment will allow us to attract bright and underrepresented students to OSU. Our vision is to: (1) become national leaders in creating new technologies (2) become a recognized promoter of economic development through innovation; and (3) continue to be a national leader in advanced engineering education.
